Working on restoring an old (1970s) Raleigh Sprite. I'm sanding off the old paint to get to the bare steel underneath for a repainting. I need to remove the headbadge, which seems to be riveted or tacked on or something? Anyone with experience removing these old headbadges on steel or Raleigh frames? Appreciate any advice on how to remove it without screwing it up.
