Is there much difference in the internals of the Campagnolo brake/ shift levers from the 8 speed to 11 speed generations?
If I knew how to service an 8 speed, would that mean I'd be versed or at least ahead of the game for 11 speed?

8s, 9s, 10s is all very similar with the exception of 'Escape' stuff..2007/8 Centaur/Veloce..both 10s but different innards..not really rebuildable..all else is. Some variations..like in 1992 to 1993, the springs in the ERGO went upside down.

2009 was 11s and all those shifters innards are completely different from all previous.

Go to Campagnolo.com

Documents-Technical documentation-spare parts..has blowups of all the lever types. To 1994.
