Anybody ever heard about a small builder called "Matfield" out of Kansas?

Apparently Matfield was based out of Lawrence, KS and only built a very limited number of bikes in the 90s for local riders. Came across one in my size and might consider adding it to the stable if I can find out a little more about it.

Any input?

I live in Lawrence and I'm pretty active in the local scene here. Unless he changed his brand to Badger, I have no idea. The guy who made 'Badger' frames ended up flaking out with some people's deposits and leaving town. No clue if they're the same, but that's all I've got.

The seller offered to try to get me in touch with the guy who built the bike and some folks that own one as well...
