Do you ride it, play it, or hang it in an art museum?

...and brings back memories...the skidstar was a fave to be modified in the late '70's in the country town i grew up in...cut & extended forks, 16" front wheel, 27" rear wheel, ape hangers, banana seat and sissy bar...what a machine!

Weird

As soon as I opened the link, even before reading the blurb or scrolling down to look at the bike, I knew it was an Aussie streetscape. I can't explain it, it just is... I reckon I could find streets that look exactly like that one in almost any town in Australia.

I like it. Looks like it's meant to ride to a coffee shop or the local news stand for the Sunday NYT. Not sure it would pass as a serious roadster.

Put some "risers" and a "gooseneck" on that bad boy and you've got a Schwinn Corvette! Jeff N.

I could easily picture Kermit mounted on this frame. I see him more as a spinner than a sprinter - the Green Lantern?

Does he sing, "It Ain't Easy Bein' Green" or "Rainbow Connection" while on this mount? Maybe both?? Either way, the frame looks like something Specialized copied with their Crossroads hybrid design (circa 2002).
