Yep, one of the sillier ideas that manufacturers have come up with.

The Peugeot alpine racer bike had a similar break back in the 1988.

Frame looks like what Ritte uses for their Vlaanderen.

Fwiw that BB shell RBA shows is from the C60, not from this new asian-nago.

The fork, downtube, seat tube, and stay are all different shapes. Beyond that, the cable routing, brakes, seatpost style, dropouts, and bottom braket are different. If these are similar, nearly every vintaged lugged steel bike is the same.

It really seems to have been modeled after the Trek Madone in a lot of ways.

It does seem to share traits with the madone. Much better looking though.

Meh. I'll wait for the cheaper eBay versions.

indeed, upon closer inspection definitely different in many details.

that said, i do sense there seems to be alot of convergence in many of these asian-made CF bike designs, which is unfortunate considering how much design flexibility CF allows.

i'll stick with my portly tube-and-lug CF colnagos for the time being...if i want a monocoque CF frame i'd get a Ritte and pocket the extra +3-large!

Since monocoque, wonder how much is to get a custom made of those new colnago frames now, probably a lot more than with lugs construction frames.

C60 is $3700 or so at Maestro-UK, MSRP-$6200..this one probably as a deep a discount..why does anybody sell Colnago?

I would agree! The tube-and-lug colnagos are more appealing to me than every monocoque CF frame.

No doubt but as a former retailer(of Colnago too), and saw how the US distributor handled the Maestro issue, not sure why any US retailer sells 'em is all. I had a conversation with Colnago, USA too and in spite of promises made, $3700 C60.

IMHO and all that.

Lately have seen more and more colnagos in the road, is just as common as seeing Pinarello's. Even BMC and Ridley are still less common to see than those other two brands.
