My exclusive Tire of choice but seem to be out of stock all the time.

Anyone had any luck finding them at a reasonable price in stock?

Cheers

Hainy

ebay is generally the quickest, most reliable place to get tires, the UK is usually a little cheaper, but ship times are iffy sometimes. anyway, $90 shipped for a pair is a good deal for them IMO.

and coincidentally that seller is velomine, which is ultra reliable; additionally, you can always call them and see what their best price is shipped, they will generally sell direct to you cheaper than ebay since there will be no fees.

.... I get mine from http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk , always in stock and always cheap and most of the times free shipping to US. Lou

The folks at velomine are great to deal with—never bought tires from them, but their service is top-notch and they seem to have a mountain of inventory.

I really like worldclasscycles.com for tires. They have a great selection, and at least some tires are discounted if bought in bulk (I always like to piggy-back on a Tim Porter order). I love the Veloflex Corsas in 25mm. The price for the Vittorias is higher, but there appears to be a new version with a so-called "ISO" compound—not sure what that is but it seems to have bumped up the price of the tires.

Bill I need some Roubaix/Arenberg Veloflexes, so let me know next time you and Tim are thinking of an order.

These are truly great tires.

And from the looks of it, given the research of Jan Heine mentioned in another thread, likely one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can make.

They are great and have been my tire of choice for a long time. Every time I wear out a set or get a flat I think I should probably just ride my Gatorskins all the time. But after riding Gatorskins for a while on the same model wheels and bike I put my Corsa wheels back on I can feel a noticeable difference.

Life it too short not to ride nice tyres.

wish they'd just make more of these instead of colored tread.

That's funny. I posted the same thing about these tires on my local bike forum a couple of years ago. Of course I speed it "tires" as we do over here.
