recycled liquor bottle saddle case, 32gr, aero!

Several years ago I made a recycled saddle case for a friend who's always picking up trash and recycling it. I haven't seen him in some time as he lives out of state and recently had a chance to ride with. I was surprised he still was using the same plastic bottle. :)
He said he's received lots of positive comments regarding the recycled plastic seat case. I made one for myself, took maybe 30 min. It weights 32 grams, and has a aero shape and doesn't look that bad. The bottom was cut to access the inside. The plastic hinges with excellent memory. I opened and closed this lid maybe a thousand times as I watched the entire length of Saving Private Ryan :) I used self adhesive velcro to secure the lid.

No rattle at all. The zip ties secure it strongly to the post and seat rails.

Cool idea and no need to buy Popov either, plenty of empties can be found along the side of any road! I think for fun I'd leave the label alone lol

I've never had Popov, not much of a drinker, just beer now and than. Been going through discarded homeless camps looking for tent poles to make a skin on frame kayak. Dozens of these Popov bottles around. Seems to be popular with some of the homeless campers.
