Thinking of pulling the trigger on a DA Di2 group for my Kirk 10th Anniversary frame. The frame has the chainstay mount for the original external battery but I think I'd like to use the new seatpost battery. Anybody know if this battery will fit inside a 27.2mm seatpost??

Yes, it will fit. If you go with Shimano's own PRO seatpost(s) it comes with a mount already inside. Just set the C clip and you are done.

Yes. If for some strange reason it won't you can make your own.

It will, however if you have any issue with any connector, the external battery is a little easier to service.

Yes it will and we like to use the Ritchey battery mount for this.

If you don't want to use the Shimano PRO post, I've been using this piece from Ritchey for all my recent Di2 builds. They offer it for both 27.2 and 30.9mm posts and it should allow you to use pretty much any seatpost.
