Picked up the 10 speed yaw shifters cheap (thanks nashbar and this forum). Thought I'd get a 22 rear derailleur and then one day up grade the shifters to 22 as well. My question is if the following will work:

SRAM Red Yaw 10 speed shifters
SRAM 10 speed cassette
SRAM Red 22 rear derailleur.

Seems like I just need to dial in the limit screws and the shifters should work fine. Let me know if I'm wrong.

im using a non-22 RD for red 22 shifters and 22 casette. Im under the impression that the RDs only difference is the little 22 number imprinted on the new ones.

Cage assembly got loose/sloppy, moved in and out....in enough and into spokes, ballooooey.

Got a couple warranty ones that did the same thing....red ones.

That sounds like the recall issue. Were the ones you had issues on, the longer cage?

Nice. Maybe I'll stick with my previous gen SRAM Red RD for a while until the get around to recalling the rest of the problem RDs.
