Wow...those are some amazing vistas! Absolutely gorgeous!

I didn't have quite the scenery you had while riding today but I had a blast out there where I live about 20 miles south of Minneapolis. I don't think the weather gets any better than what it was today.

1:40 hill repeats yesterday on the Colnago in the neighborhood. I wore a delightfully colorful jersey.

Today was 2:30 on the mtb at Graham Hills in the evening. Then my wife had an event to attend, so I put the kids to bed and did another 30 minutes on the trainer.

No pics, but made it out for 35+ miles. Almost perfect weather, and felt strong for most of the ride. Can't ask for anything more than that.

Also, it was the first time that another cyclist rode up to me and said, "Nice Kirk!" the usual response is "I've never heard of Kirk..." so that was a nice change of pace. Of course, it was a fellow member of this forum, Andreas. So I got to chat for a few minutes before he turned to go home his ride was 50+ miles with 5,000 ft. of climbing, he's a beast on the bike! A good day all around.

Thought that was me in my Mapei, till I saw the cap bill and white bar tape.

Great landscape pics-- reminds me how despoiled my home is.

I want to make a Graham Hill pun, but the ones I can think of might be considered in bad taste, so I'm passing.

Friday was the good day here, so I took advantage of the 80 degree temp and low wind to ride a 78 mile mixed surface loop, leaving at 4 PM. Stopped at friends' house around 9 PM and discussed Lyme disease, diabetes, health befits of red wine, politics, and other uplifting topics until midnight, when I motored on home by moonlight.

. . . with my girlfriend doing 50 miles out of Saratoga Springs. We headed over to the Saratoga Battlefield to do a loop of the road there before heading back. It was a perfect day for a ride!

Sat AM, my wife asked if we could do a semi-long ride together. I suggested a hilly route thru Berlin/Bolton/Harvard. She suggested a flat route thru Sudbury/Concord/etc. We compromised and rode thru Sudbury/Concord. ;-) On these rides, we go wherever she wants to go and I just tag along. Gorgeous day out, perfect riding day, lots of people out. I could have done without the whole clusterfark that is Concord, but we got in 50 miles and my wife had a ball. She said she'd do the Harvard route next time.

On Sunday, after finally finishing applying a 3 step wax system to the Miata, I got out for a nice 30+ miles at the end of the day. It was cooling off, there was no wind and the light was gorgeous going thru the farms of Northboro and Berlin.

Had a great piece of swordfish for dinner and went out for ice cream to end the day.

After pressure washing my mother-in-law's porch on Saturday, I was rewarded with a ride around beautiful San Juan Island on Sunday. The weather was perfect and the traffic was light.

Best of all, my computer ran out of batteries. I always seems to have the best rides when my computer dies...hmmm.

It was way too nice to drive anywhere to do anything so we decided to do 80 miles (ended up with 83) at a nice pace. Only 3600' of climbing. I wanted to do a century on the outer cape but if we got stranded out there we would be SOL (I'm still ironing out fit, and a few creaks, so I was hesitant).
