davis took a hit in the press for skipping the team pursuit
in favor of getting ready for the 1000. what i would like to
know is whether he was picked for the team event at or
before the games. from what i read - he left his coach and
teammates hanging. does anyone know more detailed info?

there is no why you can only be there on the 1000
because you are a team member
there was a long issue about him about a 3 weeks ago
on dutch televsion

there are a lot of team members who do not like him
i think chad and davis are not friends for live

at least a lot say any one can win except chad
he act 's like a king and that he know it all

well - regardless, i am not sure you answered or can
answer my question: was davis in torino as a team
pursuit member and a kilo racer or was he chosen
for the team at the venue and declined it at that time?

and declined the team persuit

Thanks for the spoiler. Seeing as this is a cycling forum, I immediately interpreted the title as referring to speedskating rather than some subject totally irrelevant to cycling like say a 1 km track event.
