I just swapped my Echelon rack for a Sprint rack. Found the design of the Sprint better and easier to clamp down on the fork with proper tension.

I did notice that the bike seemed to be able to rock more side to side than in the Echelon. The fork and rear wheel are secure, but the fact that there is movement made me nervous. Anyone else have experience with this rack?

It's mounted to Thule aero cross bars with the straps--which are hard to get super snug based on their ergonomics.

just took a peak online at one of those, that has got to be the most over complicated fork mounted tray i've ever seen. what the hell is going on there? why all the un-necessary stuff on that thing?? i would dump that immediately and get a nice set of rocky mount pitchforks. so much simpler, and i've got thousands of trouble free roof miles on mine,

It's actually really easy to use. The nose tightens/loosens the clamping force on the fork and has a built-in "torque wrench" that prevents over tightening while insuring that you don't under tighten.

The back is designed to accommodate a mtb or road tire on an deep section rim equally without having to flip over any rubber blocks or make adjustments.

They both work really well.
