Want to take apart and regrease my pedals but by the Exploded view it looks like I might get a whole lot of tiny loose bearings that I'll never get back in the right place.
Anybody done this or some pictures or video on-line that show better detail?
All I find is video of Shimano Mt. bike pedals that are a complete spindle assembly with a nut on the end to keep it intact.
Thanks.

Axle comes out as a unit. Balls won't fll out. Bunch-o-grease in there, reassemble.

So you are saying don't remove the needle bearing and 9 ball bearings from inside the pedal body as per Shimano's instructions on page 16 here.

Makes sense to not disturb them but if accidentally removed are they easy to get back in place?
