Now I'm curious what the question is, if you're unwilling to post it online. LOL.

Who is the best erectile dysfunction doctor in Boston?

Doesn't understand the purpose of a forum.

A: Contrary to the prevailing wisdom, Mike's is, in fact, NOT the best pastry place in the North End.

Amen to that. Always preferred Bova's myself.

Union Square if you want to shell out for something unique, Verna's if you're looking for a classic.

Haven't been, but good to know- Ohlin's in Belmont has amazing maple frosteds, Lyndell's in Ball Square is walking distance from my apartment and makes a solid cinnamon sugar donut, and Donut King in Quincy is great too if I feel like putting in some miles for my donuts. A sugar raised at mile 88 this Sunday was my salvation.

This is a donut forum, right?

I sooooo wanted to post a link to a video of Ted and John talking about Boston girls, but couldn't find one that was even reasonably appropriate...

This one will have to do instead - www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwwB60UT-w0 .

You can search for the others on your own. :)

Ditto here.

Although an Arthur's opened about 6 months ago right near me in W. Medford and is pretty solid.

Until you've had either the pies or cupcakes from Verrill Farm, no baked goods winner can be declared.;)

I'm sorry. We've had terrible thread drift here, and I'm afraid it's my fault. We started with an important question from the OP and then degenerated quickly into this fried donut/pastry fiasco. Mea culpa.

Oh, and this:
