How many old tires to keep?

I think I'm up to 8 or 9 old tires now that I'm saving for trainer duty. Unless I find gainful employment as a full-time trainer rider, I'm not sure that I'll ever go through that many.

How many do you safe? any uses for old tires aside from throwing them in the dumpster?

I keep any that have life. I tend to be the neighborhood repair guy, and just give them to people who need them. You could donate to a co op, if there's one local.
