it'll make you stronger. in my younger days traveling i'd had plenty of digestive failures (including an unpleasant event - bad goulash - stopped at the Austria-Hungary border on a train with the old school drop on the tracks toilet where the austrian border guards were doing immigration checks with german shepherds), but haven't had any issues recently, including travel to asia. sometimes i'll eat something questionable to the horror of my wife just to see if anything happens...

I've had two really bad encounters, one involving bad tuna, and the other some Ranch dressing that had exceeded its use-by-date. Both reacquainted me with Homer's the bucket!;)

Beware of the fish! I had a bad experience in Mexico, and I never eat anything with mayonaise. I hope you're feeling better soon.
