Got my set last week. Really nicely made, like all things Paul. Big fan of them.

1. I gave up on these ever coming out. I checked several times a week since they were first shown. More than I want to spend, but so tempted to order...

2. Flash, did you ever post updated pics of that beauty?

The skewers have a nice clamping action to them. Feel really solid. The 100mm/130mm are a touch long for my admittedly slim steel dropouts, so I might be taking a bit of excess off.

I haven't taken any additional photos of the Della Santa since I added the SR rear derailleur. I'll see about getting some this weekend.

I've got a set. They are a little long, I'll be trimming the excess as well. I really like the o ring on the non-clamp side, makes it very easy to grip and loosen/tighten.

Stupid, random, not-required, I should probably keep my mouth shut, comment on the aesthetics:

I have to say, the fact that the cam end isn't round bugs me. Granted, unlike center caps on automotive wheels, these don't rotate, and obviously all levers (the lever part itself) are hugely unsymmetric, but I don't like that the cam end is not round.

Something that's at the middle of a wheel ought to be round.

Other than that minor detail, it looks like a very nice part.

Only if they come with a Campy Cobalto jewel set into the center of the lever assembly.

I think the Hope skewers are amazingly good quality -- the only skewer better than Dura Ace -- and a great price to boot. And with derailleur hangars getting thicker these days, there's enough length on the Hopes still to give you full engagement of the threading on the adjustment nut. Paul does pretty stuff, and they make some brake levers that no one else has an alternative for. But when they go for hubs, cranks, and now QRs, I'm not sure just what they offer that isn't done better elsewhere.

Oh man! I have a skewer fetish and those are just pretty! But dang! 100 bucks for a set...

They are spendy but that orange center piece would look great on my Bedford.

Decisions, decisions.

What is the attraction?

What is the attraction?

They are Pauls?

Maybe American made. If that is the case I will own a set.

What is the attraction?

It is an attractive closed cam skewer. The current Campagnolo and dura ace options are very nice but not vintage appropriate.

I can't stand aluminum open cam skewers.
