What an incredible ride!

Both up and down that was some fantastic riding. To descend like that . . .

That made a long afternoon of revisions much more interesting.

(Though it also makes me painfully aware of the fact that I am stuck in a library cubicle and not out on the bike . . . )

That was an great descent but even more impressive was his ability to hang on until the end.......gotta love his little bow, too. Congrats Phinney! :hello:

A couple.

Christian had some great insights. "He's going really fast now."

Thanks man.

Shades of Spartacus and even Jens ( his solo effort in 2012 Stage 4 Pro Challenge). Nice win Phinney!!!

I was watching in a bar saying no way from 20 km out. Glad to be wrong. :)

On the previous day Christian said each water bottle weighed 4-5 lbs. Really? A pints a pound the world around. Do the math. And just when I was getting tired of Phil saying riders were descending around 60mph on every hill. The conversations on race tactics are about as obvious as you can get. When is Horner going to retire and hire out as a worthwhile commentator?

That would be great. I would love to see and hear me some Horner.

Anyone over Phil would be great and Christian is not adding much depth. I wonder if he has been coached to dumb it down for audience sake? They really need some new background music too.

Did anyone notice how much Paul carried the commentating?
It's almost like the other two were reluctant or given instructions to speak only when prompted.
Christian has a long way to go; Phil has come a long way.
