I'm debating whether to bring my two bikes on the plane with me or ship one or both to Spain. We are relocating for a year and so will have lots of other luggage but get six bags free among two adults and a toddler.
One is a coupler bike that fits within allowable dimensions as a standard-size bag. The other is a carbon race bike that would go in a soft case (I've used it without incident for domestic travel) but it counts as oversized and will likely cost $250. Should I ship it instead?
