Does anyone have any experience with these leather gloves (La Sal 1.0) from Lizard Skins? They look similar to the Rapha GT and Giro LX gloves, at a much lower price. There is no sizing chart available. But, I'm assuming you'll want to order them as snug as possible because leather stretches. They have a great classic look to them, especially in white.

Very nice looking gloves but, I have no experience with them. However, I may buy a pair even though they seem a bit expensive. Their bar tape is a little pricey too, but gosh its good tape. No better bar tape around in my opinion.

Those are great looking gloves. I may have to buy a pair of the white.

Edit: I just bought them.

These look perfect! I hope I can find a pair to try on at a shop soon.

I have a pair set aside when order comes in at LBS. Lizardskins said - "they run on the smallish side". Take it for what its worth.

Glove and shoes don't like to buy on-line unless very familiar with model/size. Should support your LBS on these items anyway.

Agree, their bar tape is excellent. The best I've found. Would like the check out their gloves.

Dromen, could you give us an update on the fit when you pick them up?

I know for a fact that there are more all leather cycling gloves coming on the market.

My Black La Sal 1.0 review:

They fit perfect but order a size small. I bought a L and they were perfect in the store. One sweaty ride later they were XLs.

Padding perfectly located for my contact points. Suggest you check out online pics to see if padding suits you.

1000+ miles in - Only gloves I've worn this year and no signs of wear(durable stitching and material), very supple after a few rinses in H2O to remove salt stains, dry quickly if left out for next day ride & shape remains consistent after the one time stretch.

Ancien Bicycle(Milwaukee Ave, Chicago) took good care of me on purchase of pair of Ms after Ls stretched.

Anyone want a pair of stretched Black Ls that fit like XLs - $25 worn 3 times.

S (Size 8) M (Size 9) L (Size 10) XL (Size 11) XXL (Size 12)

How is that measured? around the hand like any other glove?

Looks like is around the hand like all of the other manufacturers... too big for me :/

Maybe not the right spot to drop this in, but I have had great luck with these Galtanis at $30.

I have the Lizard Skins. They are good quality and fit well. The leather feel like a golf glove. They are durable.

The padding is sewn into the glove oddly. I cannot get used to it. It is like the padding is inset instead of integrated if that makes sense. There is a small gap which causes some pressure points on me. Although I wear them, they are not optimal for me.

And those Galtani gloves have been renamed to Veeka. Www.rideveeka.com

I have that exact pair and they are very good.
