I read some posts in the "rollers" thread from riders in the Austin, Texas area. Well, I am heading down there this weekend and staying for a week. I was hoping to get in some good rides on the road. Can anyone recommend any good group rides? I am from Saratoga, NY so the fitness is a little behind schedule due to the winter, but it will be great to get outside and ride. Thanks.

I'm not sure how much flexibility you have wrt location/travel/etc but there are lots of great routes in the Fredericksburg area. Not sure what constitutes a "group" in your mind but if you're able to ride in the Fredericksburg or Boerne area PM me and perhaps we can hook up.

Also, in addition to the wheelmen web site you've already been directed to, see http://home.satx.rr.com/satrailblazers/main.htm for rides in the Boerne area.

Thanks guys. These websites lead me in the right direction. I am basically looking for your typical roadie group ride. The more riders the better.
