Hello,

Picked up a couple wheels and need help ID them.

1) Dura Ace hub, came build with Mavic Replex (clincher). From what i gather the rim is from late 90's, since the rim in question was produced for a limited time. What i have not been able to ID is the hub series.

2) Zipp 340 laced to Dura Ace (7900), fom what i gather the rim is also from late 90's. Would like to find the ERD of the rim, to find a suitable replacement rim. Appreciate the help in advance.

hubs are 7400 series. Rims are the precursor to the open pro.

Damon Rinard's Spocalc should have the ERD for that Zipp in the database.

...or try googling it. Probably out there somewhere.

My first thought but it doesn't seem to have it. I have a version where I put it in but I have no idea where it is now.

The 340s didn't tolerate a lot of spoke tension, they'd split in half once you got to some semblance of normal spoke tension. I had many 340s and 440s back in the day.

if you're going to replace the rim just de-lace it and measure the erd yourself

Yep, there are few advantages to zipp anything, IMHO but they DO have exposed nipples..great, even better when ya gotta measure ERD or on a tubie, when ya gotta true the thing..I've killed more than a few tubular tires because the nipps are hidden..had to remove the tire to true it..
