That guy just keeps getting older and older. By now he must be really, really old. However, the thing I can't figure out is he just keeps getting faster on the bike and better off the bike. What's his secret?

Happy b'day Tom!

Happy Birthday Mr. Spectrum. It's party time, so don't be surprised if one day you walk in to the Mobil station near the velodrome to an unusual gathering.

Best Wishes, Mr. Ti.

So? I gotta ask the std. B-day question: You are one yr. more in this universe, tell us something you've learned.

First; thank you everyone so much for your kind words Re: my advanced age. I really feel as though I have made many new friends here. You folks are as unlike the typical internet forums as can be. Thoughtful, kind and considerate.

Second; what have I learned ... A man is definitely NOT an island. That much is clear.

Thanks again and Colbys to all.

The gingersnaps are a sham. Tom takes credit for baking the gingersnaps, but they are really baked at Ben's Bakery in Saratoga Springs, New York. They are made entirely by hand by Ben himself. He designs them, cuts them, shapes them, and bakes them. He even decorates them with beautiful designs and colors. :)

. . . that there will be a special party for Tom at Smiley-Palooza and Tom will be giving out Spectrums as party favors.

This IS true, right, Tom? Tom . . . ?

If I can make it, I have promissed to make and bring Aunt Zoe's cookies for Seth. It will be up to him whether anyone else gets any. He has been known to eat an entire batch in one sitting. And yes Sandy, it must be that Ben and I both have an aunt Zoe. That is the only explanation. Frame favors? ... don't worry, the cookies are better than the frames anyway.

I may end up closer to TK and Spectrum than I ever thought. I ended up today in Allentown and the hills and countryside look intriguing...... I love climbing and there are hills here.

Happy Birthday Mr. Spectrum! I may yet get one!
