Sweet riding weather in Boston this AM. Commuted in shorts for the first time this year this morning! :banana:

I ride from north. I didn't even mind the 15mph steady headwind given the temperature. Also looking forward to the alleged 20mph tailwind heading home.

Saturday afternoon seemed crazy busy, I think everyone pulled their bikes out of the garage at the same time.

I took the snow tires off the car, so I'm apologizing now for the snow on Wednesday.

It's hard for me to even imagine that kind of weather. My pool water is 85 today with the help of the solar system. However.....when you guys are enjoying your wonderful summers, I'll be getting out at 7 AM and back at 9-10 AM to avoid the opressive heat. Then in the pool.

I made the decision almost 50 years ago to not live in the cold. Never been sorry for that decision. Do miss your summers sometimes. I'm originally from NC mountains. Very depressing winters. Life can be good about every where most of year.

Friday afternoon was not bad. Sunny for the most part and in the 60's. It was the NW headwind coming across still frozen lakes that made a chilling effect. Still needed long sleeves and leg warmers. Only 30's and 40's the rest of the week, that sucks. Hope the weekend beats the weather prediction.

Your tail wind home is gonna be huge. You may only have to peddle every 100 yards. I was getting blown around on my lunch ride big time and the head wind home required extra efforts.

Couple of scary side gusts, but otherwise, easy street riding home!

Touched 81 here on Sunday. Blew two bottles on a 25 mile ride. A jersey and bibs on April 13th. Low temp 22 later in the week.
