I am visiting area for weekend. Looking for suggestions to ride - on or off road. I should have an hour to three each morning, or maybe late afternoon to ride. Thanks ahead for responding.

For road, you can ride South/South East of Fall River

Narragansett Bay Wheelman usually do good rides in the area: http://www.nbwclub.org/

Off road you can go to Village Park in Swansea, MA. Good mix of single/double tracks and even single tracks are very doable on a CX/gravel bike. I am planning on being here either Saturday or Sunday depending on rain. Right lower corner where you see the "Power Lines" there is more off road riding not mapped here. Park at the library lot

The Horseneck Beach area has some really nice rides.

Hop on Rte. 24 south for 5 or 6 miles and check out Aquidneck Island, and Conanicut Island after that (Newport and Jamestown, colloquially-locally) for some scenic road riding. Also, Bristol is just west, very pretty.
I'm partial to water views and light traffic.

Cape Cod begins about 35 miles to the east. Plenty of traffic until you get out a ways but worth it.

Ride south to Little Compton, ~20 miles. Or find the Providence to Bristol bike path and cruise that.

Years ago, I did a 50-mile mt bike ride that started in Freetown State Forest, so there's got to be something around there.

Thanks for the info, and ride map. My son and I did the trails around Abrams Rock in late November. I may do that again, or the road, I'll look at weather, etc. I spend so much time traveling by car I hate to transport a bike to a ride.. I am attending a golf tournament a Metacomet in East Providence. It would very cool to ride to the vent and back each day on one of my bikes.

Thanks
