About a year ago, I saw a similar story about a couple of kids that decided to do the same thing for July 4th. A couple of acetylene filled ballons went off in the cab of their pickup. The roof looked like it had been opened with a can opener. The two boys were outside the truck when it went off, but unfortunately, a younger brother was still in the truck. Blew out his eardrums and burned his hair off.

I thought the Darwins had an honorable mention category for people who survive, but still have no business contributing to the future gene pool. Probably engraving this guy's name on the trophy right now....

usually had their snarglys destroyed so they would not be contributors anyway. But I am always amazed at what seems to be a good idea at the time.
