I have a cross bike 32c richey speed max tires that have seen better days. What would be a good replacement tire you can recommend for comfort and endurance? This for city use with bad roads and constant flats. A good store you can recommend? TIA

these guys seem to have one of the largest selection of tires in the size you are looking for-

at least in the size you want with out being "cross" tires

Id look at the Pasela's (http://www.panaracer.com/eng/products/index_ur.html#b)

yep--I have the older 700x32 Paselas that really measure about 28mm and they ride well, long, and no flats yet. They are NOT the Tour Guard model. The new Paselas are very accurately sized and labeled so the 700x32 should be good for you. Rivendell Ruffy-Tuffys are 700x28 too and I recommend them too.

Will a 28c tire fit on a Ritchey Aero Pro Rim, OCR Rear, 32H? Thanks again.

I can sure endorse the Ruffy Tuffys that someone mentioned. Funny name but great tire for the purpose you've described. :)

I've had a pair on my Mercian all rounder every day bike for about 8 months, ridden probably 2K or 3K miles on them and they show NO signs of wear and have NEVER flatted. Most of the riding is commuting through the heart of Seattle including downtown where I've had plenty of flats with other tires over the years. They're 27s or 28s, something like that, kevlar belted, not too heavy considering the width and flat protection, and very round profile. Nothing bad to say about them for an every day tire. You can order directly from Rivendell at http://www.rivbike.com
