Nothing better than the fed ex guy delivering a big box. I'll post some build photos as I get this up and running. Building with campy record/chorus mix, enve fork/seatpost, Ritchey stem/bars and a set of record to h+son archetypes.

Planning to remove all decals except downtube ones, but will wait until it's built before I do that...
(I know the der hanger isn't on, waiting until after my lbs presses the ck headset before I toss it on)

Rad. Wow I can't wait to see the pics of the bike built with all those nice parts.

I would leave the HT logo as well if it was mine.

Did you buy this one from the Pro's Closet? 56?

Mine should be here Tuesday, can't wait.

Hope you enjoy the build.

Some people wonder if they made a difference, Marines don't have that problem.

Yes, bought from tpc and yes, I'll definitely leave the ht logo as well... Just don't like the big USA on the cs or the fondo logo...looking forward to this build... Think it's going to turn out nice and ride great!

When did they start using "Wright" style dropouts?

Maybe a one-off using Wright's? That makes it more cool. :)

Looking forward to seeing it built. BTW you ought to leave a search function at eBay if you are still looking to a Serotta seat post collar.
Saw one today but not the right size for your frame (34.9MM). http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEROTTA-SEAT-POST-COLLAR-CLAMP-34-9MM-ALLOY-SILVER-/251491219911?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a8e0b79c7

different dropouts, press fit bb, and head ons on downtube instead of headtube, thomson collar? Doesn't seem like a serotta...

So it's a Fonda, built at the end if Serotta beginning of saratoga frameworks from what I can tell. Standard threaded bb, but yes, hooded dropouts and the Thomson is just temporary, didn't come with a collar. It was welded by Frank and finished by caleb from the paperwork that it came with...

did it come with a fork? Yeah, i'd peg this one as a first off by Saratoga with the old decaling -- which will still be an awesome steed.

It's a Fondo—look at the logo on the toptube. It has double-tapered stays, but they used Breezer-style dropouts to control costs.

Did the derailleur hanger come separately? That's a bit unusual. Great frame, with a well thought out geometry for all-day comfort.

i see the Fondo logo, but the frame doesn't look like a Serotta.

were all Fondo's made with Wright dropouts? how about Prontos?

The Pronto frames had titanium dropouts made by Serotta.

No, all fondo's were not. If you look in the gallery there's a fondo that had serotta drop outs.

As I mentioned, this looks like a frame that came out of the factory in the midst of the Serotta-to-Saratoga Frameworks transition. Saratoga was using the paragon/wright dropouts on their frames, and enve forks instead of the serotta forks.

To me, this seems like an example that came out more as a Saratoga frameset, but badged a serotta.

I rode a Pronto this weekend. That's a pretty sweet bike.

Agree with Nooch, this is a frame that came out around the demise of Serotta and the starting of saratoga frameworks, kind of an in between frame... Built by the serotta crew but around the time serotta was no more...

I would change Fondo to Fondue if it was mine.
Then again, I told my friend to replace the Seven lettering on his downtube with Eight.

Am I seeing things or os there a bent piece of the rear dropout. It is the hood portion of the dropout that looks like there is a small tab of metal bent towards the ground.
