My guess on Horner: His lead up to the Vuelta had very few race days if I recall. Perhaps he is on the same training plan (or lack thereof) for the Giro and the injury is an excuse to limit is race days before the Giro?

Maybe but Horner has been injured a lot during the last few years. Lampre took a big risk hiring him. It is a gamble whether he will be well enough to do any given race scheduled for him.

Looks like we'll all have to do with text updates given that the weather cancelled the live broadcast.

Damn! I was wondering why snooker and MSR were on Eurosport and something with large boats on the Catalan coverage.

Weather is like crap today, no tv. Hope they do record the race from the motorcycles and broadcast that later on today. Darn... queen stage and we wont be able to watch what is going on. Sucks :/

TVG is really looking good on the climbs this year.

He was second at Oman and outclimbed nearly everyone yesterday and then out-climbed everyone today. I've been down on TVG because every year when there is a climb, he usually disappears. Even last year, although I thought he actually looked in good form in ToC when he won the uphill TT and then finished 2nd to Acevado on the Tramway....but then took a dump on the first incline in the Tour de France.

He and Talansky can really do some damage at the Tour for the Americans this year.

Perhaps he should just focus on LBL. Seems one day hilly races would stress his body less than a grand tour.

He did great today, looks like froomy doesnt have it no more. Purito looks better than last year IMO he is not as thin as last year, contador the same.

Remember, These guys play the long game. Froooome could still be in "training". Same for Quintana. It's what....a month till the Giro and two plus to the tour?

Yeah but in the little vuelta froome won already he had the "tower mill" power big time, yesterday did not work, looks like today did not again.
