yawn....another company marketing 'beer' to the 'athletic' crowd...might as well drink Michelob Ultra with Lance down.

Well since any alcohol is a diuretic, none would be the "ideal" recovery drink.
Drink what you like though...

"researchers like Desbrow have been experimenting with ways to reformulate beer so it'll have the properties of a sports drink without the dehydrating effects of alcohol." With only 0.5% alcohol and 77 calories this may be a good alternative. It all depends on the taste for me though.
