I don't know why the sarcastic comments, it's about people getting out there and competing in a healthy pastime, a sport. And would anyone dare insult a black person's skin? So why do it with white people?

I was a little confounded by the video, kept wondering why the knobby tires in on the velodrome (where they were filming). That picture above makes sense.:)

I used to do this with my buds when I was a kid. It's a blast! We didn't call it "Speedway", but it's the same thing.

Yes, it's origins were the UK bomb sites of WW2 when people turned them into race tracks for entertainment, and it spread to other countries. The last World Finals were in Australia.
