Your bike is a beauty. Thanks for the pics. I do understand your point on the handlebars. Very weird for a round bar. Nothing like my ritchey WCS classic.

Great color. Great bike. I see what you mean about the bars though. The rotation looks... wrong. How about the Deda Newtons? Deep drop, of course.

Are those the Conti GP 4000 tires? If do, hoe do you like them? Any good in the rain?

yeah curt, that's the way the jerk is going to have to go. with these things there is no drop and the jerk is one of three remaining riders in the world who actually likes to ride there.....we'll see.

can't beat the price. and the tires ride like clincher tires, hard and awful. good in the slushy muck and wet stuff though.

. . . the paint scheme seems extremely restrained for a Peg. Special request to your pal, Dario?

i love the way that bike looks.
the dimensions seem just right.
got me to thinking...
we all post photos of our bikes and we get a lot of feedback on stem height, length, saddle height, fore/aft, etc.
wouldn't it be more meaningful/helpful to see the rider on the bike?
that's what fits all about, isn't it?
so, senor jerk, or anybody else who posts photos of their bike, how bout a shot of it with rider also?

e-richie, you and dirtdigger have the same color preference... if only you had similar tastes in cycling clothing...

Possible dumb question but that's never stopped me before: e-richie, what's the story behind your "thing" for red? It was my favorite color growing up--one of the first sports teams I rooted for was Nebraska--so I'm naturally in favor of your red bikes/kit/saddles etc.

there is no thing yo!
in 1982, le coq sportif gave us a shetload of kit
and we had to screen it. the stuff was red - and
we painted all the frames to suit. though they bailed
in 1984, the bikes kept getting repainted, rebuilt,
replaced - all the while, as we went through different
clothing vendors every few seasons. the paint jobs
were chosen to match the original cloth. there was
no "plan". it just happened yo iirc atmo rotc.

southern baptist convention says "altered" boys and girls are mp
