I have a few sets of wheels: Zipp Firecrest 404, Mavic Ksyrium SL, and Bontrager RaceLites. I loved the Ksyriums but got the urge to try something new, so I bought the 404's. In the end I prefer Ksyriums to the Zipps, but I still have the urge to try something new. I would like your thoughts on my next set of wheels. I am a big guy and my main bike is a Trek Madone 6.9 with dura-ace 7900.

Find a custom wheel builder who can design a wheelset specifically for you and your needs? Maybe step up to Tubulars as well?

What is it that your Mavics are lacking that you're hoping to find with something else? That will give you a good starting point to narrow down your options.

Try converting your Ksyriums to road tubeless or if your Race Lite are tubeless compatible try them.
