I am trying to research geometry and sizing for a buddies Waterford. The serial number is C95094 which I understand means it is the 950th frame made in March 1994.

The C2C measurements that I see is 56x55 (maybe 56x54.4) with a head tube about 14.5cm. On waterford's site I found this chart of geometry:

https://www.evernote.com/shard/s3/res/c0da8289-97bd-4b94-ad85-7e1b0d093439

Waterford says they measure seatmast Center to Top. That would make this Frame a "58" but the bottom bracket shell says "56". The "58" geometry shows a TT of 57 which this doesn't have.

I'm confused. Anyone have some insight? Custom?

I had some questions about a used Waterford once, so I called them. Richard was happy to sort it out for me.

I'll second this. I've had a few email exchanges with him on different matters. He's a very attentive and helpful guy.

As for the serial number, you're close, what you've got is the 94th frame built in March of 95. It would be rare for us to have built 950 frames in any month for that matter!

We did measure seat tubes (seatmasts?, I never liked that name) center to top, so you're right there, but without checking the serial number with the folks at Waterford there's really no way to know if this was a "stock" geometry bike or a custom, the serial number doesn't indicate this.

It is possible to look up old geometries on Waterford's old website, do you know what model it is?

Cheers,
Dave
