NASCAR driver Landon Cassill is DEFINITELY a cyclist

Was riding his bike in the bike lane in Daytona the other day and got hit by a woman in her car.

Bruises and road rash but he was cleared to drive in the qualifying races the other night and will line up 18th on Sunday.

Daytona proper is not a safe place to cycle, especially during events, unless you stay mostly on the sidewalks. However, once off the main roads its outstanding. I've cycled all over the area and it offers some really nice riding. Glad Landon was not hurt.

Especially about 10 miles E of there around Deland. Old mossy oaks, slightly rolling terrain, low traffic in rural areas.....very nice.
