I have a good day planned on the bike doing a couple of errands. I'll start off by heading to Twin Peaks then on down to American Cyclery near the Haight Ashbury, from there to San Francisco Herb Company to pick up some of their Chai brew and some mint herb tea. This is a fun ride incorporating many neighborhoods in a small central loop of the city with enough climbing to give you great views and a good excuse to stop off at one of the many fine coffee shops/bakeries along the way.

Hey Bruce, Tyson is the one I ordered the part through, a Soma Sutro quill stem in black.

Hey Bruce, we can meet sometime near the marina and I can show you some of the neat ways I get around the city. I'm not a hammerhead (other than going down hill) I like to smell the roses along the way.

Beautiful Richman, my favorite saddle too.

Would love to ride with you and Fixed around the city. In the 80s and 90s, San Francisco was a frequent business destination that I walked and ran extensively. It still is my favorite American city.

Cheers.

Tomorrow our club New England Randonneurs has its first monthly 100k populaire. I'm trying to leverage the Social Medias to get people to run full fenders.

My better half is the RBA and has been in bed with food poisoning for the last couple of days. Hopefully he'll be able to ride tomorrow!

I saw some happy riders on 9W (Hudson River ride for NYC folk) today--lots of wet patches on the road from snow melt, and still lots of grit and salt residue...

But hey--the sun was out, the temperature got above 50 and people looked darned happy to be out on their bikes. It has been a dismal winter for riding, and not just because of record low temps.

(no ride for me--I was finishing up a project at someone's house...)

I'll be at the hospital all day, like I have been almost everyday for the past eight weeks. Wish everyone a great Sunday. Looks like a beautiful day here in HONO.

I love that graphic Fixed :D

It was a beautiful weekend for riding here in the Appalachian mountains. I got in about 120 miles and a good 10,000ft of climbing Saturday and Sunday. I'll be soar for a few days. This was my kick start weekend, I hope!
