Interested to see what is out there. Definitely prefer the Drakkar in Medium (58cm Effective TT). Also would consider an rSogn in ML (I believe that is 57cm ETT).

Anyone that has one of these trying to get rid of it? :hello:

Have you seen the New Albion Privateer?

http://newalbioncycles.com/privateer1/

You can get one here for a pretty fair price:

Don't forget the fork.

that is actually pretty nice. I like the disks on the drakkar but that is a very nice price. $350 with fork. Definitely prefer the look of the rawland better but they are twice the price. Thanks for posting that.

I liked the Drakkar I had. It was a medium as well.

Try and hold out for one.

I am surprised they did not already make more drakkars and rSogns. I think they are working on it but seems like a few people are looking for them (judging by the google user group)

There's a google group for Rawland that has some sale traffic. I got tired of waiting for a used one in my size and for Sean to make up his mind on revisions to the Drakkar and bought a Singular gryphon. Also considered Singular peregrine and Salsa's offering as alternatives. Been pleased and haven't looked back, but if you can find one I'm sure it will be a very nice ride. I still look at any classified for these bikes and would be tempted ....

The singular peregrine looks very similar to what I want. Looking into soma and salsa too. Where did you get your Singular bike in the US?

I am talking to a member right now who has a dsogn and he is considering selling, needless to say, I am very interested.

Last I checked there was exactly one Singular importer in the US, out of Kansas. This is the place: http://theprairiepeddler.blogspot.com/p/singular.html

A friend has a Peregrine and he really likes it, but it's definitely chunky. A good do-it-all bike if weight isn't an issue.

I owned a Drakkar for a number of years. It was a great riding bike, but I had it built as 700c and I think it would have been better off built as 650B.

PM me I actually have a frame credit with Sean that we bartered for design work. I was waiting for a ss frame that never happened but I'd be happy to extend you the credit if you purchase the frame from me; we can do it through Sean. I would imagine he has either a Drakkar or rSogn in stock and you can get exactly what you want. PM me if you're interested.

For some reason I do not how the peregrine looks, that and the EBB. It does seem like a nice bike though and every review I read about it was positive. Thank you for mentioning it.

haha, when I was first searching for one I kept on just image googling drakkar and all I got was pictures of drakkar noir. My dad used to use it back when I was young.
