"Real Design" is owned by Litespeed. The few people I know who recived them stock on their Litespeeds were happy with the weight & strength. I believe they have a whole line of wheels so you really need to know which model you're interested in.

I'm unfamiliar with their new products but an awful lot of their old products were shoddy. Their old hubs were poorly assembled and had tolerance issues although some users were able to repair and salvage them.

Cambria Bike Outfitter has been trying to sell off their old inventory for years and currently has the rear hubs available for $24.95.

The "new" Real has nothing to do with the "old" Real. The rights to use the name were sold. I wondered why anyone would want them as the original Real wasn't all that well known, what was known wasn't always good and I felt the name was kind of funky to begin with. :bike:
