I built this a few years ago for my nephew Alonzo, it has since been handed down to his younger brother Lorenzo.

I saw and rode the Renovo bikes at NAHBS in Sacramento. They were different. Their booth was across from ours. Nice bike. Pretty. Felt heavy though(while riding I mean).

Bought a Renovo on this forum last year. Looked like art but not impressed with the ride. Felt heavy and had issues with front der. clamp and routing for rear brake.

Charles, Renovo's manufacturing facility is in Portland, OR, but they do have a showroom in Sausalito.

Don't know if this qualifies. Bamboo isn't really wood, is it? I think it's like grass or something.

Rides pretty well. No complaints so far, but it's only been out a few times this winter.

Check out this baby!!

"The bike here is made of Walnut (dark) and Maple (light). The frame consists of 9 separate layers that have laminated together. The chain stay and seat stay are comprised of 33 layers and are held together with epoxy resin, much like a carbon fiber lay-up. The top-tube and down-tube are hollow and I have ran the brake hose internally."

I have a Calfee Bamboo that I have been riding for a couple of years. Its great riding but I think that it was built for a heavier guy because the tubes have been wrapped with carbon fiber to stiffen it up. To that end, Its for sale. 58cm c-c seat tube, 55cm tt, 245mm head tube $2000 shipped in Conus.
PM me if you're interested

Built a few in the shop..test rode them..altho it's heavy when ya lift it, it does have a unique ride..very comfy..I'd say, Ti-esque, very unique.
