King HS crown race base plate - color?

I was just wondering if the king headsets all come with the same steel colored crown race base plate regardless of the color of the hs cups.

In short, Yes all of the races are the same color regardless of HS color.

That's great. I am getting a new frame and installing a black king hs, but will be using my current fork, so I didn't want the base plate from a pewter king hs on the fork to clash.

All these important details to iron out!!
