Exciting stage yesterday (Stage 3)
Nice cycling fix during the cold snap
on NBCSports
Phil and Paul with Robbie McEwen ( who is really pretty interesting
as a color guy)

I've been enjoying the live pirated streams, stages end at around 11PM EST.

Stage 3 was great. The coverage here by Channel 9 is s#$%, but at lest were getting cycling on the telly.

And they're showing stage 5 today live, so here's hoping they don't balls it up completely

The pace at which these guys were riding up Willunga hill is as if they are on flat road, simply amazing.

Nice to see Cadel take that stage. And, you can always count on Jens Voigt to be in the mix.

Rider number 42 (Jens Voigt) stops by for a chat. Race officials gave him number 42 in honour of his age, his popularity, and his impending retirement

He was probably speaking more about the quality of the coverage on NBC (highly edited non-sequitors) than the subject matter. It's hard to watch, and the coverage of the races in Dubai and Quatar are even worse. The classics get at two hours per race - usually 20 minutes of banter and race summary, then feed from that point until the end of the race.

Given the speed climbing the hills this year, is the race coming up the back side (lower incline)?

i just prefer to keep my viewing season from March to September, from Strade Bianche to the World Championships, and i don't particularly care for races that pay appearance fees.
