Back when I was still working full time I climbed antenna towers.

The cartoon intro will last about 20 seconds.

Insane, There isn't enough money to do that. i don't feel comfortable climbing up a ladder to get on the roof. I could feel the same nausea in the pit of my stomach just watching the video.
The thing that stands out is how the route to the top is very convoluted, not designed for the tech who had to climb to the top and fix something. At one point the tech was climbing up on angled tubes used to strengthen the structure.

My limit was 120 ft. I got $25 extra a week for climbing.

I was OK on the video till the tech got out of the middle of the tower and was climbing up the side. The transition was a little scarey.

In reality if you fall more than 40 ft. your chances of survival are pretty slim.

Holy crap.
I've been rock climbing for 44 years and climbed faces higher than that but i always had a rope. Watching this gives me huge respect for what they are doing.
I bet they can't walk with their legs together.Huge cahones.

You need to make sure you have ALL the tools required for the job.
I found this out the hard way...:)

I have a recurring nightmare that always seems to involve falling. Couldn't the video to the end!

I wonder what task he had to do once up at the top? (maybe it explained it before I unmuted the volume)
