The public net known as BBS (Bulletin Board System) from back in the day. A point to point system at 1,200 baud:) Very cool video though. Thanks for sharing.

If you were lucky, we had 300 baud and felt fortunate at that. We walked 10 miles through snow to get it and then got our kicked in the teeth after we logged in, but them was the glory days, the good times, the pinnacle and it would only get better!

And by the way my name is Riachard Halleran, and I own a "Home Computer"!

Ya, you're right - 1200 Baud was science fiction in 81:)

Any cycling related BBS back in the day? Classic Rendezvous still uses an e-mail distribution list. A forum is just a faster and fancier BBS, no??? Now, it was the usenet that was the best of all:)
