Anybody have replaced the bolts in a 2 bolt seatpost like the old campagnolo or the SR??

Anybody has replaced the yokes for modern ones?

Anybody knows whats the threading of the bolts?

Thanks.

Is this the SR you mean?

Looks like a standard hex head bolt with a 10 mm head. My guess would be M6 x 1 thread.

I have a NR or two around that I can check if you think it's the same, but I don't have the SR.

Not the same model but is the same stuff... yes 10 mm... asking because since I used saddles with cut out would be simpler to replace with a bolt with an allen head. Even was thinking in swapping the yokes for something newer and lower.

Nice mechanism, once tight wont go nowhere, like it better than the one tightening from below.

I get it. Same with the quill posts on a Moser; easier to tighten them through a hole in the saddle. I think Campagnolo made some sort of bent wrench for tightening the NR post.

Yeah campagnolo had them and are super expensive at ebay :) I can use a socket but with an allen wrench i have more room :D

Gonna check the treads in home depot :D

I have a nr seat post and the bent wrench. Even with the wrench it can be a pita to adjust depending on the saddle.
