In honor of game being in California, I will be watching it with some Escondido Brewing Stone IPA as libation. FSU wins 45-41, but Auburn again mounts a late 4th quarter rally to bring within 4 but not enough to get the W.
JW throws 356 with 4 TD and 87 yards rushing to get MVP.

not sure who was scheduling this, but the monday thing is killing my plans
obviously, a sunday game would have been better. if yesterday, it wouldn't have even overlapped with the wild card games since they were both early. but who know how those tv contracts work.....

Awesome game. I always pull for FSU as my dad played for them in 1957 slightly before they became a powerhouse. He's the circled one.

Typically they split them to leave each "day" for one of the leagues. Sunday is pro football, Monday is college for the nat'l title, etc.

One of the reasons the NCAA b-ball national title game is a Monday night -- typically an off/travel day for the NBA.
