I picked up a pair of H Plus Son Archetype and Challenge Parigi Roubaix 27c tire for another build and to my surprise they fit on my 2004 Ottrott with an F2 fork. I know most Ottrott's were custom but I thought I would share the good clearance I have on mine.

I know I'm missing a cassette... wheels are for another build still waiting on parts.

Thanks. Riding in Okinawa is good. I find it a little strange because all the drivers seem to drive on the extreme left of the lane, curb side. But speed limits are low, 60kph or less and it is easy to find wide smooth roads to ride.

I can't wait to ride these wheels on my other build. I figured I would save some one the guess work and post up some mock up pictures. Also my fork is marked with a Reynolds decal as they made the forks for Serotta.

Thanks again for the post because now I'm a little more confident that 27mm will work for me too

Have you noticed any rubbing on the inside of the fork and/or seat stays.

Had a similar set-up on my Legend and the clearance seemed fine after mounting the tires. A month later when cleaning the bike I noticed some light scuffing on the inside of the fork legs and chainstays. I don't remember the scuffing there before changing from 23mm tires.

Heard some mention of tires swelling to a bigger dia after some break-in.

These wheels are for another build so I'm not currently using them on my Ottrott. I will give them a try when I get some new pads as I think the SwissStop yellow would melt if I tried to use them on the aluminum wheels. That said I think it has a lot to do with wheel stiffness. I had a similar issue with a set of mountain bike wheels.

I'll report back when my next shipment of bike parts comes in.

The 27mm worked for the front fork on my ottrott but seems to be too close for the rear.

This must be what happened with the 27 mm on the rear of the serotta
