I'm very interested in purchasing a custom frame from our friends at Serotta. However, I'm torn between steel and titanium. I race at about 190 lbs and I'm fairly strong (avg watts produced during sprints: 1550).

I average about 7-10 crits per year and 5-10 road races. I want a bike that's responsive with decent ride quality. Any suggestions or comments from you seasoned veterans?

I'd get the ti bike. even though I'm a dyed in the wool steal is real guy, I enjoy riding my ti bike over all others.

Design is more important than frame material.
