Remember some time ago the video showing that guy doing trial bike tricks on a Pinarello?

Looks like he is going even further now!

I'm not too much into that kind of things but I must say it's very impressive!

One of the things I think is cool about the road-trials guys is that they disprove the notion that road bikes are fragile and precious things that can't so much as hit a crack in the pavement without collapsing.

Road bikes of all types are so much tougher than most folks give them credit for. I'm reminded of a ride a number or years ago when I was riding with a group of guys and the group decided to make a turn onto a smooth dirt road. It's a great road and I run it all the time even on the skinniest tires and when we got to the turn two guys stopped and just looked at the dirt like they would surly die if they rode onto it. Two guys - one on a carbon bike and another on a steel bike and they would not ride on the ride. They looked at me like I was crazy and wanted to hear from me that their bikes wouldn't snap in two by riding over smooth dirt.

i felt bad for them that so much good riding was being missed. In the end they took a different route to not ride on the dirt. It makes me want to show them this video.

Good bikes are tough..........crappy bikes are usually tougher.

Such a cool video - thanks for sharing the link.

The thing that shows with videos like this beyond the superhuman skills is just the obvious joy that comes right through the lens with each of them :) . Good stuff thanks for sharing.

Wait a minute. Backwards, downhill, front wheel only, and the road looks wet and slippery too. It is great to see talent and skill what a great video oh great looking bike too. Yes as David Kirk mentioned I think people believe road bikes are fragile it's always fun to take the road less traveled especially if it has a little dirt and gravel mixed in as well.
Have a great day.
