Yup, its vain, but the black finish on my DT rims has more than a few scratches revealing the aluminum below. Any ideas on touch ups? I use a black marker pen on lots of things, like black wood picture frames with nics, but I don't think they'll necessarily work well on the exposed aluminum.
Ideas?

Ideas?

Don't worry about it, don't even think about it, just ride them.

I've used paste shoe polish before. But....for aluminum, it's not porous, it's tough to touch up with spokes in there. If you touch up with paint, then you've got to rub it out and blend it in. Don't see how you can do that.

Paint pen will work fine. I use it on my black aluminum Cannondale mountain bike all the time. I crash enough that without it, it'd look like the bike has smallpox.

I buy universal black touch up paint from the auto parts store, I also have one of the clearcoat ones. I use it for motorcycle stuff as well as bicycle stuff. Works great and is more durable than sharpies.

I've used a Forney 30313 for my black gloss C'dale.
