"Trek is now suffering from Subaru's misuse and will continue to suffer ongoing harm"...

Poor, poor Trek.

It is crap like this that makes me glad that I don't own one (the Klein in my stable is pre-Trek).

Is there much of a chance of a person confusing a car and a bicycle, even if they had the exact same name?

Maybe. I always get luxury German SUVs confused with cheap Asian made mountain bike parts.

Didn't know that. And I have a CrossTrek!

Wouldn't ride one of Burke's POS any more than I'd ride Sinyard's.

When will Parmount Pictures sue Trek for using the word "Trek" as in Star Trek? 😄

...and I'm thinking about having my local office of Dewey Cheatham & Howe fire off a complaint to Waterloo, for mental anguish over the bad acid flashback their action against Subaru has caused me.

1996 called. They want their Jetta Trek back.

It seems that both Trek and Specialized like suing the hell out of everyone. Both companies, I personally can't stand. Makes sense.

I remember that...Jesus. That doesn't seem like too long ago. I'm old. Old. Old. Old. Old.
What happened? Why is my favorite VW still the Corrado?

Trek may believe they are some pretty big cheese and in the bike industry, they may well be. But in comparison to any motor vehicle manufacturer, even one of the smaller marques like Subaru, Trek is small beans. Subaru would deal with any of their OEM suppliers, for example the subcontractor for car seats, that would easily dwarf the likes of Trek.

Trek thinks they can legally outgun even little Subie? I don't think so.
